Welcome

emeeting is NVCC's online meeting space. NVCC Faculty and staff can use eMEETING to conduct online meetings, hold office hours, discuss assignments, and coordinate small group projects. eMEETING uses the same technology as eNOVA, so meeting participants who are familiar with eNOVA will find eMEETING easy to use. eMEETING uses the same interface but there is a maximum of 20 participants per eMEETING session.

You can use eMEETING during a traditional conference call or you can use eMEETING's Voice Over Internet Protocol, (VOIP) capabilities. VOIP transmits your voice over the internet instead of over phone lines. You can even use eMEETING for video conferencing. This tutorial will focus on using eMEETING with VOIP.

To create and lead eMeetings, you must have meeting creation privileges attached to your eNova account. You must complete TAC's online Introduction to Leading eMeetings workshop in order to get meeting creation privileges. (If you are a faculty member experienced in using eNova, please contact Katherine Cook at TAC at tac@nvcc.edu to make other arrangements.) To see a complete listing of the training available and register for workshops, go to: http://tac.nvcc.edu/training/ and click on the TAC Workshop Registration link.
