Prerequisite SCM 110. Studies the skills required to transmit English into a manual code for English and vice versa. Introduces a variety of manual codes and their relationship to American Sign Language. Lecture 2-3 hours. Laboratory 0-2 hours. Total 3-4 hours per week.
