Prerequisite is one year of high school algebra or equivalent and satisfactory placement score for ENG 111. A concurrent course in college algebra and trigonometry is recommended. Emphasizes technical applications. Includes precision measurement, statics, dynamics, energy and momentum, heat, sound, optics, DC and AC electricity, and modern physics. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
