Introduces principles of aseptic technique, sterilization, disinfection, and anticepsis including environmental safety and control, CDC, and OSHA requirements. Presents packaging, storing, and dispensing surgical supplies. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
