Prerequisite is EGR 250 or EGR 251 or departmental approval. Teaches number representation in digital systems; Boolean algebra; design of digital circuits, including gates, flip-flops, counters, registers, architecture, microprocessors, input-output devices. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
