HYMNOLOGY (3 CR.)
Studies the development of hymns throughout different historical periods.
Analyzes hymn styles for a variety of religious services throughout the
liturgical year. Surveys current trends in hymn singing and accompaniment
styles. Lecture 3 hours per week.
