IST 220
MICROCOMPUTER: OPERATING SYSTEMS, ARCHITECTURE, AND HARDWARE (3 CR.)
Prerequisite is IST 100. Focuses on microcomputer operating systems,
architecture, internal functions, and peripheral equipment interfaces.
Teaches memory management, instruction and data formats, basic operating
system architecture, and interaction with user software. Lecture 3 hours
per week.
