Prerequisite is current EMT-Cardiac and/or paramedic certification. Reviews material covered in EMT-Cardiac and/or paramedic courses. Emphasizes recent developments in the area of pre-hospital advanced life support. Required for Virginia and National Registry recertification as a Paramedic and Virginia recertification as an EMT-Cardiac. Lecture 3 hours per week.
