CIV 227
CONCRETE AND SOIL TECHNOLOGY (3 CR.)
Teaches properties of portland cement concrete, methods of mix design, use
and placement of concrete, soil and its relationship to engineering
construction. Includes properties of soil with introduction to retaining
walls, piles, underground conduits, and earth dams. Lecture 2 hours.
Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
