SURVEY OF AFRO-AMERICAN LITERATURE I-II (3 CR.) (3 CR.)
Prerequisite is ENG 112 or divisional approval. Examines selected works by
Black American writers from the colonial period to the present. Involves
critical reading and writing. Lecture 3 hours per week.
