CIS 230
INTRODUCTION TO TELECOMMUNICATIONS (3 CR.)
Prerequisite is CIS 100 or divisional approval. Surveys data transmission
systems, communication lines, data sets, network, modes of transmission.
Emphasizes multiplexing in a network structure. Focuses on both
intelligent and non-intelligent terminals. Lecture 3 hours per week.
