Introduces the principles, concepts and issues involved in Federal Government acquisition of Automated Data Processing (ADP) and Federal Information Processing (FIP) requirements. Meets the requirements of DoD 5000.52-M, "Career Development Program for Acquisition Personnel" with respect to Automated Information Systems (AIS) Contracting taught as DAU course number CON 241. Provides the student with an understanding of the areas involved in quantifying and administering ADP contracts with emphasis on decision-making activities. Lecture 3 hours per week.
