DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY

    Prerequisites are PHT 101 and ART 283. Teaches theory and practice of digital photography. Emphasizes use of digital     cameras in studio and on location. Teaches advanced techniques of image editing. Provides training in digital image     transmission from remote locations. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.PHT 270-271 (3 CR.)     DIGITAL IMAGING I-II     Introduces students to the tools and techniques used by professionals in the electronic imaging field. Focuses on current     trends within the photographic, prepress and internet industries. Includes image capture, manipulation, and out-put.     Exposes students to the hardware and software used by today's creative professionals in a combination of lectures,     demonstrations and class projects. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
