Introduces the students to the production flow, equipment use, and materials used in optical surfacing and finishing laboratories. Covers the basic concepts and skills required to make a pair of single vision eyewear. Includes topics on laboratory and personal safety. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
