Purpose: This career studies certificate is designed for those wishing to enhance their employment options or retrain for careers as laboratory process technicians or equipment support technicians in the semiconductor and other high-tech fabrication/research facilities.

Special Curriculum Admission Requirements: Students who have not completed the required courses listed below (or their equivalent) may be concurrently enrolled in the career studies certificate with division approval. CHM 111-112 College Chemistry I-II(8 credits) ENG 111-112 College Composition I-II (6 credits) MTH 173-174 Calculus with Analytic Geometry I-II (10 credits) or MTH 271-272 Applied Calculus I-II (6 credits) PHY 201-202 General College Physics I-II (8 credits)
