INTRODUCTION TO SECOND LEVEL NURSING

    Prerequisites are ENG 111, HLT 141, NAS 150 or NAS 162, NUR 109, NUR 162, and PSY 202. Teaches principles     and concepts of nursing care for individuals, families, and/or groups in the community and hospital setting. Focuses on     health team membership and various nursing care delivery systems. Includes math computational skills and basic     computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care. Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing     laboratories and/or cooperating agencies. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 9 hours. Total 12 hours per week.
