Provides students in human services with an integrated approach to basic interviewing and counseling skills utilizing theory, practice, and case management applications. Examines issues, values, ethics, societal, and cultural dimensions which can positively or negatively affect human service relationships. Explores intergenerational and cross-cultural communication. Lecture 3 hours per week.
