Prerequisites are high school chemistry or equivalent and a satisfactory placement score for ENG 111. Introduces fundamentals of organic chemistry for students not intending to specialize in chemistry. Focuses on nomenclature, classification, and reactions of organic compounds. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
