Prerequisite is one year of high school algebra or equivalent and satisfactory placement score for ENG 111. A concurrent course in college algebra and trigonometry is recommended. Emphasizes technical applications. Includes selected topics in precision measurement, statics, dynamics, energy and momentum, heat, and sound. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
