LEGAL ISSUES IN NETWORK SECURITY

    Prerequisites are an AAS degree or higher in a Networking field and successful completion of the Network Security Career Studies Certificate first semester courses. Provides an in-depth exploration of the civil and common law issues that apply to network security. Explores statutes, jurisdictional and constitutional issues related to computer crime and privacy. Discusses rules of evidence, seizure and evidence handling, court presentation and computer privacy in the digital age. Total 3 hours per week.
