Involves research, authentication, and provenance of historic objects. Covers examples of furnishings, metal work, textiles, glass, and ceramics. May provide field trips, lectures, examination, and discussion to assist in determining age, condition, and other properties. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
