¹ OPT 097, 197, 297 Cooperative Education takes place on the job. To fulfill the requirements of a Registered Apprentice, 2000 hours per year are required.

² OPT 111 is the introductory course for all finishing and surfacing laboratory work. This course is required to be taken in conjunction with OPT 097, Cooperative Education.

³ OPT 121 is an introductory course for ophthalmic optics. This course is required to be taken in the first semester.

⁴ OPT 123 is the introductory course for all ophthalmic dispensing work. This course is required to be taken in conjunction with OPT 197, Cooperative Education.
