Studies prism optics, development of multifocal lenses theory and application of methods of increasing impact resistance of glass lenses. Emphasizes absorptive and selective transmission properties of colored lenses theory and application of anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coatings. Lecture 4 hours per week.
