¹ OPT 111 is the introductory course for all finishing and surfacing laboratory work. This course is required to be taken in conjunction with OPT 190, Coordinated Practice.

² OPT 121 is an introductory course for ophthalmic optics. This course is required to be taken in the first semester.

³ OPT 190 is supervised coordinated practice which takes place on the job. To fulfill the requirements of a Registered Apprentice, 2000 hours per year are required.

⁴ OPT 123 is the introductory course for all ophthalmic dispensing work. This course is required to be taken in conjunction with OPT 190, Coordinated Practice.
