INTRODUCTION TO AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE

    Teaches the fundamentals of fingerspelling, American sign language structure, and sign language vocabulary. Develops     skills for communication with the hearing impaired. Introduces the non-language aspects of communications, including eye     movement, facial expression, and body posture. Explores and develops skills in gesture pantomime and body language.     Lecture 3 hours per week.
