FIRE HYDRAULICS AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS

    Prerequisite is MTH 120 or higher. Teaches mathematics, laws, and formulas as applied to fire service hydraulics, including     the development of mental ability to solve fire flow requirements and water supply needs. Emphasizes the principles,     techniques, and application of water distribution systems used for fire suppression. Lecture 3 hours.     FIR 210 (3 CR.)     FIRE SERVICE AND THE LAW     Prerequisite is FIR 100. Teaches the laws that apply to fire service organizations and their employees. Examines the law-     making authority and process at the federal, state, and local levels as it applies to emergency service personnel. Lecture 3     hours per week.
