Teaches basic studio skills necessary for communication design students. Emphasizes use of drafting equipment and materials such as knives, pencils, pens, brushes, glues, and papers. Includes introductory production skills both traditional and electronic. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 4 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
