Prerequisites are AIR 102 and AIR 134. Studies electric heating, basic constructions, application, calculation, installation wiring, troubleshooting, and repair. Introduces the operating principles, installation, servicing, problem isolation, and repair of packaged and split heat pump systems. Stresses troubleshooting and repair of these units. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
