Military Educational Services of NOVA offer free credit evaluations to its students governed by NOVA rules. A student must complete at least one course through NOVA before a student can request an evaluation of transcripts. In addition, a student must complete at least one quarter of their degree from NOVA, plus meet the specific remaining requirements of a degree before NOVA will award a degree to a student.

Furthermore, as part of our evaluation it is NOVA Service Members Opportunity Colleges (SOC)policy that each Military Student who completes 6 credit hours through NOVA also complete a SOC agreement with NOVA unless the student has a SOC agreement through another College. In addition to being NOVA's policy, it is also Military Policy. NOVA has to turn into the Military copies of Students (SOC) agreement.

The MSO will complete evaluations on transcripts such as CLEP/DANTES, Military Transcripts, via AARTS/SMARTS. etc., and transcripts from regionally accredited schools.
