Respiratory Therapy is an exciting and rewarding health profession. There is always a need for qualified, licensed respiratory therapists, but at this time, the demand is particularly high. Please click on the link to learn more about this profession: Respiratory Therapy: What do they do?
Our respiratory therapy classes are small and provide a great deal of personal attention for each student. Our students attend clinical practice courses at area hospitals under the supervision of an instructor. With excellent instruction and extensive clinical experience, NOVA respiratory therapy graduates have achieved high passing percentages on national board examinations and enjoy many employment opportunities.
Local starting salaries for graduates range from $39,000 - $41,000 per year. With experience and appropriate credentials, individuals can earn $45,000 - $75,000 per year.
