Final Examination Schedule: Spring 2009
- Regular instruction ends Monday, May 04, 2009.
- Examination week is: Tuesday, May 05 through Monday. May 11.
- Final grades are due on the computer by noon, Wednesday, May 13.
- Examination periods are a maximum 150 minutes in length as noted in VCCS Policy 5.3.0.2.
- Each teaching faculty member is required to give a final examination, or provide an appropriate evaluation, or continue instruction during the scheduled final examination period (Faculty Handbook 3.1200)
- Classes meeting off-campus or at non-campus sites will hold their examinations at their regularly scheduled time on the announced nights during the examination period.
- If classes begin at times not identified below, instructors should select the examination block most closely approximating the class start time and least disruptive to students' schedules.
- Students with conflicts caused by this examination schedule should first confer with the instructors for resolution, and then appeal to the respective academic dean, if necessary.
- Faculty with schedule or room conflicts caused by his schedule should confer with their respective academic dean to resolve conflicts.
- Examinations given at times other than those announced on this schedule need to be approved in advance by the appropriate academic dean.
