Welcome From the Provost

As the interim provost, it is an honor and a privilege to welcome you to the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA). 

According to Marian Wright Edelman, head of the Children’s Defense Fund, “Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it.” 

In essence, one of the purposes of education is to create change agents to challenge the status quo and injustice within society.

We offer a wide array of courses, programs and degrees through multiple delivery formats (including face-to-face and online) and at convenient times to meet your distinct needs. We provide noncredit courses to hone your technical and employability skills so you can obtain entry level employment or advance in your career. We offer leisure learning opportunities to enrich your life. You will obtain first-rate quality instruction from renowned professors and field experts at an affordable cost.
