Testing Center

NOVA's Annandale Testing Center offers placement testing to all incoming students, provides testing for instructor referred exams for on campus classes, proctors exams for Extended Learning Institute (ELI) courses and for VCCS students taking distance learning classes and administers competency exams for NOVA programs and/or graduation requirements.

Test	Test Must Begin...
English or Math Placement Test	2 hours before closing
ESL Placement/ACCUPLACER Test	3 hours before closing
Extended Learning Institute (ELI) Exams*	1.5 hours before closing
Instructor Referred* or Proctored Exams*	1 hour before closing
SDV ABLE and competency Exams	2 hours before closing

*Many of these exams have longer time limits. Please arrive with enough time to complete your exam.

Please Note: Foreign Language Placement Tests (Arabic, French and Spanish) are not administered at the Testing Center. Please contact the Language Center at 703.323.4137 to schedule an appointment for these tests.
