About

The Science Learning Center (SLC) is available to NOVA students studying the subjects of Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Physics and Engineering.  The Science Learning Center is located at NOVA's Annandale Campus. The Center offers NOVA students a space to work, lab models and other science materials, and reference materials for class project use.  The SLC welcomes study groups, provides instructional support in the various science disciplines, and arranges seminars on selected science topics.

Hours and Location

The Science Learning Center is located in the Schuler Building, CS 237, at the Annandale Campus.  Students from all campuses are welcome to use the SLC resources, including textbooks, computers, biology and chemistry models, and faculty assistance in the subjects of Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, and Engineering.  Students are encouraged to check in advance to find out when faculty will be available for their subject of interest.
