Sociology

The Annandale Campus offers a variety of courses that support the six required general education social science requirement. Sociology is only one of several courses that helps students meet their social science requirement. These courses are designed with several types of students in mind: those enrolling in the A.A. or A.A.S. degree program, those planning to transfer to four-year degree program and those seeking enrichment courses.

Faculty members are dedicated instructors who utilize a variety of instructional media, including PowerPoint presentations, field trips and ELI courses.
