The Spanish Department Welcomes You

Since the late 1960s, NOVA's Annandale Campus Spanish department has served students and adults in Northern Virginia. Courses at all levels are offered. Enrichment courses in Spanish civilization and literature are also available to degree and non-degree students. Presently, the Spanish department has three full-time faculty and many qualified adjunct faculty. The Spanish department at NOVA Annandale offers prospective students:

• Day, evening and weekend classes
• Spanish Honors program
• A language learning center that provides:
  • Spanish instructional and learning support through individual tutoring
  • Language laboratory to reinforce language acquisition using computer
  • A testing center that administers exams to fit an individual's life/work demands
  • Library with extensive Spanish texts and books as well as computerized research capability.
