| Chef Benita Wong is accredited through the American Culinary Federation (ACF) as a Certified Culinary Educator (CCE) and Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC). DeQuan Smith is a graduate of Virginia State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. While attending VSU, he worked as the Program Director for the Hospitality Management Program. He was an active member of the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality where he worked with professors to promote professional development opportunities for students. In addition to his outreach through NSMH, he worked with the Hyatt Summer Bridge Program, introducing high school students to the different disciplines of the hospitality industry.
