Would you like to be a Writing Consultant? Peer Writing Consultants must have:

* Great writing skills
* Outstanding communication skills
* Above average grades in English 111

To prepare for work in the Writing Assistance Center, students selected to be Writing Consultants take a special class taught by an English professor. They learn to be supportive and encouraging, but at the same time how to teach student writers to assume responsibility for their own writing and become more independent.
