Jobs at the Writing Assistance Center

Would you like to become a writing consultant? You must have:

  • Great writing skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • An associate degree
  • Experience related to the field of reading and/or writing

Beyond these qualifications, writing consultants must undergo training to learn effective ways to support and encourage student writers. Writing consultants will also work to help the student become more independent and assume more responsibility for their own writing.
