Administration of Justice

The Administration of Justice (ADJ) program leads to an A.A.S. degree in the administration of justice. The program is designed to provide a broad foundation which will prepare students to enter any of the varied fields of criminal justice or to prepare for advancement within the field of criminal justice. The occupational objective for students include local, state and federal law enforcement officer; adult/juvenile corrections officer; security director (manager) loss prevention director; classification manager and personnel clearance administrator. The total academic semester-hours required is 65 -- 39 of these hours are in the administration of justice courses; 26 hours are in general education subjects, e.g. English, social sciences, mathematics (l course), etc.
