Human Services
The Human Services Program includes three basic disciplines -- human services, substance abuse and gerontology. The goals of the human services program are to present information and skill-based knowledge to meet the demand of the population with help in coping with the myriad of problems taking place in our culture and society today. The program provides training to a broad range of students, from virtually all ages, racial groups, ethnic backgrounds, socio-economic levels and educational levels. Student are encouraged and assisted in obtaining internship/practicum experience in the discipline to enable them to enhance their classroom knowledge with real-world experience.
