Event Description Adult Career Pathways Program – College Access Workshop The Adult Career Pathways program is designed to assist low-wage workers, work-eligible immigrants, unemployed and underemployed individuals in developing an education or training plan to earn a certificate or credential that may help them secure a better job with a path toward advancement and greater economic security.
ACP is a counseling-based service where students are paired with an academic counselor to assist them in navigating the challenges adult students face when attending college. The program is free to students. The Adult Career Pathways program holds monthly College Access Workshops where students may apply to participate in the program.
During the workshops potential students are given an overview of the program, assistance applying for financial aid, completing a NOVA application, information on placement testing, and then may apply to the program if they wish to do so. |
