Event Description
Come out for NOVA Coed Ice Hockey tryouts!

NOVA hockey is a fall and spring semester activity. A nominal nonrefundable participation fee of $550 for the entire year is required. Players will be notified if they make the team after academic eligibility is determined. If you make the team, you must have a check for $550 by September13 to be listed on the team roster.

Participation is limited to students at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA). At a minimum, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) guidelines require nine (9) credit hours during each term(s) of participation. This means you must take and PASS at least 9 credit hours each semester and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA. Currently enrolled NOVA students must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA

TRYOUTS (Required for All Players):

Wednesday, August 29, 2012 and Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Check-In: 8 p.m.

1. Current USAHockey Registration Required to Tryout - Bring a copy
2. Must be registered as a NOVA Student for at least 9 credits for Fall 2012.
3. Bring a White and Dark Jersey - Full Hockey Gear with Full Face Shield Required.
