Tornado Drill

Event Description
On Tuesday, March 12th at 9:45 am, there will be a statewide tornado drill for all state agencies and institutions.

The college's Office of Emergency Management and Planning will coordinate this drill, and NOVA will participate under the direction of the designated official at each campus.

This is an important drill that will provide faculty and staff with the opportunity to review and practice utilizing our emergency plans, including the actions to be taken in the event of a tornado.

The drill will also help familiarize everyone about appropriate sheltering locations and will test the performance of our floor wardens and communications equipment.

Please direct all questions and concerns to your respective Emergency Management Coordinators or to the Office of Emergency Management and Planning.
