Continuing Education

Our Job Is Your Long-Term Success

NOVA’s Workforce Development Division provides a wide range of cost-effective options for supporting a continuous learning business culture.

These options include, but are not limited to programming delivered:

  • at your company’s location
  • at one of six NOVA locations
  • through online/distance learning
  • through blended learning platforms (online and classroom)

Our range of options include:

  • short targeted skills-building courses with specified outcome goals
  • professional certifications
  • targeted professional career/management/leadership development

Through our Continuing Education platform, your employees also have access to a wide range of degree pathway options that increase their engagement, career value and organizational flexibility.

A shared characteristic of high-performing companies is a human capital system fueled by a continuous learning culture. For many of these companies, this emphasis is reflected in their employee tuition assistance benefit plans. For others, it is manifested as a line item in the company’s operating budget for employee development or a combination of both.

Studies show the high impact of continuous employee development on employee engagement or discretionary effort (Driving Performance and Retention Through Employee Engagement, Corporate Leadership Council, 2004). Finally, employee engagement systematically affects company revenue growth (Understanding What Drives Employee Engagement, Towers Perrin, 2003).

We pride ourselves on our commitment to customer service focused on the adult learner. We understand that learning is most effective within a context of one-on-one learner support within the classroom and career navigation.
