Conference & Event Facilities

NOVA’s Office of Continuing Education & Workforce Development at each campus coordinates requests for use of college facilities and resources for conferences and meetings by corporations and the community. Among the available services are room rental, computer laboratory rental, consulting services, audio conferencing, satellite downlink and teleconferencing. The Alexandria, Annandale, and Manassas campuses have cultural center buildings that offer state-of-the-art facilities for a variety of entertainment functions.

Colgan Theater and Howsman Lecture Hall

Located on NOVA's Manassas Campus, we have a variety of amenities perfect for any type or size function. Facilities include the Mary Louise Jackson Amphitheater featuring bench seats with backs for 500 and lawn seating for an additional 200 or more; the Colgan Theater, 120-seat capacity; Howsmon Lecture Hall, 150-seat capacity. We can also assist in arranging special parking, audio/visual needs, caterers and entertainment.

Ernst Community Cultural Center 

Located on NOVA's Annandale Campus, this 66,000 square foot facility contains a 535 seat, state-of-the-art theater with satellite downlink and video projection capability; an 11,000 square foot gymnasium/exhibition hall, a welcoming Atrium entrance, meeting and training rooms, a two-story art gallery and a large Forum room suitable for lectures, conferences, receptions, hearings, dinner parties, hearings and performances expecting smaller audiences.

Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center

Located on NOVA's Alexandria Campus, this facility has meeting space that will accommodate 10 to 150 people Monday through Saturday. The Center also offers access to audio visual equipment, Internet connections and kitchen facilities.

Test Proctoring

Waddell Theater

Located on the first floor of the Waddell Building on the Loudoun Campus of Northern Virginia Community College. The 230 seat theatre is available for rent by community businesses or organizations.
