About the Reading and Writing Center
The Reading and Writing Center’s mission is to enable student success through improved reading and writing skills. To achieve its mission, the Reading and Writing Center offers:
Tutoring – individualized, one-on-one, face-to-face assistance with all aspects of the writing process; our tutors assist students of all ability levels, in all courses and disciplines.
Online Tutoring – individualized assistance through email; our online tutors assist students of all abilities, in all courses and disciplines. Please read our detailed policies and procedures for online tutoring.
Workshops – interactive group discussion of common writing issues, followed by individualized, one-on-one assistance; students not only learn but also work on their writing and receive help as they do so.
