About the Writing Center
The Writing Center’s mission is to enable student success through improved reading and writing skills. To achieve its mission, the Writing Center offers:
Tutoring – individualized, one-on-one, face-to-face assistance with all aspects of the writing process; our tutors assist students of all ability levels, in all courses and disciplines.
Online Tutoring – individualized assistance through email, podcasts, or web-conferencing software; our online tutors assist students of all abilities, in all courses and disciplines. Please read our detailed policies and procedures for online tutoring.
Workshops – interactive group discussion of common writing issues, followed by individualized, one-on-one assistance; students not only learn but also work on their writing and receive help as they do so.
