My name is Scott Skokowski. I was born in Maryland and have been in Virginia for the last few years. I am currently enrolled at George Mason University in the College of Sciences and have been working in the OCC for a year. I enjoy working with my fellow compatriots and can answer any questions you may have about the center. I also do stand-up comedy and perform frequently at the Epicure Cafe in Fairfax.
My name is Alicia Schaefer and I am a graduate student at Marymount University in Arlington, VA. I am currently enrolled in the M.Ed. program and plan to receive my Master's degree in Elementary Education by 2014. Before calling McLean, VA my home, I spent my childhood traveling the world due to my parent's job and had the opportunity to live in Africa, Europe, and several cities in Asia. I love working with students and as a public speaking consultant for the OCC my goal is to help you shine. Please stop by the OCC if you have any questions and I would be more than happy to help out!
My name is Dorothy Raskind, I am majoring in English and Public Relations with a minor in Spanish. I started my college education in West Virginia, am currently enrolled at NVCC Annandale and plan on transferring to a major four-year university. Throughout my college experience I have been a residential assistant, camp counselor, and a senator in the SGA. Being in positions that allowed me to help others solidified my aspirations of working for non-profit organizations. As my mother always said "Leave the world a better place than it was when you came into it." As someone who enjoys public speaking I look forward to helping you all feel same. See you in the OCC!
