Nina Liu
Hello everyone, my name is Nina. I am from the southern part of China, and I am glad that I can be the Chinese tutor in Language Center this semester. I have been here for almost one year, and I have studied English for more than 16 years. During this time I found out that the main way to learn a new language is to practice as much as you can. Here, in the Language Center you can get a free chance to practice your Chinese. I would be very happy if I could see any of you here. Feel free to come and ask me any questions about Chinese.
Maxi Moon
My name is Maxi. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Because of my Korean heritage, I naturally learned to speak two languages. When I was 16 years old, I moved to America and later graduated from Robinson Secondary School in the year 2010. After high school, I attended James Madison University for a year. Now, I am a full time student at Northern Virginia Community College and am tutoring Spanish at the Language Center. I look forward to meeting you and helping you in any way that I can!
John Lim
My name is John (Guil) Lim, and I am tutoring Korean. My background is a little different than most. I grew up in Korea, but I studied Chinese and graduated from a Chinese college with an electrical engineering degree. While in China, I taught Korean to Chinese students in school. Now, I am preparing to go into the U.S. Army by taking English and military classes. Since I really want to be an international military officer, this opportunity brings me one step closer to my dream. Come by Language Center to sign up a tutoring appointment today.
