The Annandale Campus Testing Center stays open for all posted hours and we make every attempt to have the test you need, when you need it. However, sometimes emergencies occur. Occasionally your test is delayed in reaching us. Rarely, power outages, server outages, or weather problems can and do cause the Testing Center to be closed without warning when we least expect it. Because we cannot predict the future, we recommend that you do not wait until the last minute to take your tests. Leave yourself enough time to do well and leave us enough time to serve you well.

Students with Accommodations

The Testing Center offers reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities. If you think you need assistance, please speak with a counselor in CG 211 before you take your exam. Students with accommodations (SWA) should have a “memorandum of accommodation” on file at the Testing Center. If you require a reader or scribe for an exam, please contact counseling first and then contact the Testing Center to schedule a date and time to take your exam. Remember

• Students taking placement exams for the first time must have completed a NOVA college application for the CREDIT Program prior to coming to the Testing Center.
• You must have a valid photo ID and know your Student ID# to take any exam at the Testing Center.
• All exams are stopped and collected 15 minutes prior to closing.
• Only authorized test materials are allowed in the testing rooms . Lockers and cubbies at the TC Admin counter are provided for storage of personal possessions. A staff member will provide you with a key for a locker.
• Please take all tests seriously. Be rested and ready! Remember to bring your glasses if you need them.
• Please check our hours for regular testing hours and special closings before coming to the Testing Center or call 703.323.3149 . We do our best to keep our hours updated.
